On Sept 22, Jason had surgery to remove the burns on his right side. The doctors were successful in removing the burn and closing the wound. They also debrided the burn on his back. He will undergo surgery again tom. to remove more of the burn on his back and begin the necessary skin graphs. Jason and Patty remain in great spirits and are so grateful for the wonderful support system in place. Jason seemed most worried about his fantasy football picks.
Patty was grateful for Greg DeWitt's visit so that she could thank him for being so calm the night of the accident. Both Jason and Patty asked that family and friends keep the children caught in the fire in their thoughts and prayers.
